ASP.net is the part of Microsoft.net package which is used
for making the web applications.
This .net package have the base of old languages which we were
using previously,
Like visual basic, c++ and front end technology like ASP. There
are many more features in the whole .NET Package but I will discuss only which are related to
ASP.NET.
